THE MIRACLE SNACK.

MISSION & HISTORY.

At Ajabu we do not only want to snack. We want to snack and feel good doing it. We want snacks that have an added value to everyone. But more importantly, we want to address one of the most pressing issues of our day: Malnutrition in all its ways and forms.

Ajabu Snacks are made to 50% out of ground fermented Cassava and to 50% out of ground vegetables. The fermentation process increases the nutritional value significantly, providing much needed value, creating a truly healthy snack. Ajabu Snacks are the perfect supplement for all malnourished individuals. We cater foremost to areas we malnutrition, especially undernutrition, is a prevailing issue and more than competitive rates.

Our foremost goal is to serve those that need help. In our value chain, we buy the Cassava from smallholder farmers in rural Tanzania, paying an above-market price. This helps our suppliers to increase their income and support their families. All vegetables that are used for Ajabu Snacks are bought at the end of the day at local markets. Those vegetables that were not bought and about to be thrown out we use. This decreases food waste and offers local small-scale vendor additional disposable income. These are just two ways of how Ajabu is truly a social snack.
